A series of public events at the University of Puget Sound, 2024-2026 

As part of the Dolliver NEH professorship, Justin Tiehen (Philosophy) and Ariela Tubert (Philosophy) will organize a series of public events at the University of Puget Sound campus on the topic of Humanities and Artificial Intelligence. The list will be updated as new information becomes available.

January 19, 2024 - workshops led by Tim Laquintano (signup required)
12:00-1:30 faculty workshop on using AI in teaching and assignments
2:00-3:00 faculty workshop on using AI tools 

April 2, 2024, 7pm - public talk by Ted Chiang

March, 2025, visiting artist in residence Chantal Peñalosa Fong

March 28, 2025, 5-6:30pm - public talk by Regina Rini
